"Restore the soul, calm the mind, and heal the body... this is the path to wholeness." -- David Grinstead
My Approach:
As a clinical hypnotist I am a teacher, motivator, and guide. My goal is to assist you in resolving normal problems of living. I see my work as a clinical hypnotist as non-therapeutic in nature, as hypnotists do not engage in the independent diagnosis and treatment of medical or mental disease. Hypnosis is performed in the majority of sessions, however, it many not be necessary to perform hypnosis in every session.
Life coaching is action-oriented, solution-oriented, and concentrates on forward motion rather than looking at the past. I get you, your actions and thoughts, your very lifestyle aligned with who you say you are or want to be. Basically, you will get the way you live, think, act, and work integrated with your core values and goals. If you don't know what your ultimate goals and values are, then I will coach you with that, too. As a life coach I take an active, hands-on approach and many regimens involve phone conversations, reading assignments, journal-writing, defining goals and progress reports.
Spiritual direction is the process of accompanying people on a spiritual journey... of exploring a deeper relationship with the spiritual aspect of being human... of awakening to the spiritual in everyday life... of developing a deeper relationship with spirit through all phases of life. The object of spiritual direction is to awaken to Spirit's (God's) active presence/interest and to live one's life in relationship with the Divine as a co-creator experiencing God in every moment of this sacred dance called life.
